Introducing
SUNRETURN

SUNRETURN is an electronic/acoustic music project started by Nick Marshall in 2006. The First Sunreturn live gig was at The Gong Unconvention at The Melkweg in November 2006, where Nick kicked things off in The Old Hall on Sunday, and was joined by guests Brian Abbott, Tim Hall, Fabio Golfetti, Mark Robson and Edd Brooks. Nick created the 'Patterns E.P.' at this time, it is available at gigs. In December 2006 Nick was joined by Faith Rhodes for a gig at The Voodoo Lounge in Plymouth - it went so well and was such fun that she is now a member of the project (they first met in 2004 when they played together in the band Seize The Day). They have just released 'Simulcra', a 4 track CD recorded live in rehearsal in February 2007 - this is available at gigs or by mail order (Planet Gong and this website - see the Mail Order page for details.)
They are now busy writing, rehearsing, recording and playing gigs, intending to release the first Sunreturn album in 2007.

Seeking to expand an already extensive range of styles she then moved onto the Leeds Jazz scene playing frequent local venues whilst studying music further and touring with the UK wide Zimbabwean world music big band UK Zimba. She has now added clarinet, recorders, piano, very funky triangle! and singing to her performance and songwriting repertoire. Until recently she was a member of Seize The Day, appearing on their new album 'The Tide Is Turning'.

Simulcra - is a 4 track CD recorded live in rehearsal on Feb 12th 2007. It is around 45 minutes long.
